5th-6th June : Peak Navigation Course

With a great bunch this weekend we headed out for a Peak District navigation course. Not sure about you lot but I felt like we covered heaps on the first day! Anyway, I wimped out (to run a climbing course in the rain) and let Mat take over on day 2 and from the photos it looked like you had a great day.

Course notes to follow shortly, for now - a few photos.

Good to meet you all and see you again soon.

Instructor: Guy and Mat

Feedback: We had the most fantastic 2 days ever, both Guy and Mat made us feel relaxed, at home and no question was too much for them to answer even if perhaps at time silly ones. Both the days were quite different in that day one was learning it all from scratch and out on the walk with day two putting it all more into practice with difficult weather and walking on different terrains. Excellent instructors and other people on the course were great to be with too. We will hopefully come along to more courses. God bless you both and hope to see you real soon.

Feedback: I learned so much from this course and I can't wait to get out there and try out what I have learned. I was the world's worst map reader, but just only after 2 days I feel much more more confident at turning 2D maps into 3D reality. It was great fun too... Learning the way it should be. Thanks Matt& Guy.
